Snowy Owl

I witnessed two juvenile snowy owls at the beach and what a contrast of the white feathers, dune grass, and sandy beach. These owls are so fluffy, and almost have a laugh like smile when you can see their beak hiding in the feathers.

Handpressed linocut printed with black ink on real Canadian wood veneer. Mounted on an 11 x 14 inch white backer making it easy to display in a standard size matte or frame.
