Pelagic Cormorants

Pelagic Cormorants only land on the rocky shore to rear their young. The rest of the year they are out on the open sea. This image is inspired by MItlenatch Island off the coast of Vancouver Island. I love the colour blue, and this piece has a balance and depth of many hues of tranquil blue.
