Crow Resting on Driftwood
Crow Resting on Driftwood
I spend a lot of time in Pacific Rim National Park Reserve. I still cannot believe this is in my backyard. I started learning to surf at Long Beach, a great place to learn on small beach break waves. It's tricky in the summer, when the fog is too thick in the morning and then the westerly winds come to blow it off and bring sunshine. I tend to nestle and hide in the driftwood and stare at the horizon. On one particular day, this crow perched beside me and we seemed to be in sync, mesmerized by the rhythmic sound and sights of waves.
