Waterlilies

I have contemplated doing a waterlily pond for many years but it wasn't until my move to Nova Scotia it finally made sense. I discovered so many areas with the glossy leaves and crisp white flowers with a fiery center. I finally took the best photograph to work from and I feel that I captured the calm, soft, tranquility feeling of this landscape.
