Black Turban Shells

Walking the beaches here is different everyday. I find so many gems washed up on shore after high tide. This shell houses a marine snail but the empty ones can also occupy hermit crabs. Black turbans have a rich deep midnight blue with a rose banding and when slightly eroded and displays an opalescence and orange top.

Handpulled print is 8 x 9 inches, series of 10, signed and numbered. Frame not included.
