Black Capped Chickadee

Every season brings a change in the wind and a change in our winged neighbours. Chickadees bring a liveliness to the understory when the rainforest is quiet. I have had many winters enjoying the spectacle of the salmonberry and salal bushes shaking and vibrating. Silly me, I usually think its a wolf or bear coming out of the bushes.
