Moving to the East Coast brings the opportunity for checking out the local fisheries. I was here on the South Shore in time for my first "dumping day". This is when the lobster boats all leave for the first day of the season at the crack of dawn and boogie to get out there and dump their traps. Shellfish are incredibly interesting as subject matter and the lobster is a beautiful species.
