Chickens at Calendonia's
I spent four months in Uganda conducting water resources research for a Canadian forestry company. I spent my evenings and days off creating ink and watercolours which I later turned into linocut prints. I spent a lot of time on small farms and plantations and one of my favourite places in the watershed was a small holding perched on a hill. Caledonia had a highly organized and efficient farm. I loved the meandering chickens. Certain things really are the same half way around the world.
Handpulled print is 5x8 inches, series of 10, signed and numbered. Frame not included.
