Rufous Hummingbird

Several hummingbirds visit my cabin every year and feast on the nasturtiums I planted. They are a welcome celebration buzzing around and reminding me of the sweetness in life. This one in particular kept coming inside my open window and perching up high in my kitchen. They look like fierce little creatures when they hover, swoop, and fly but when they rest, they look so fragile and delicate.
