Grey Whale Spyhopping
This artwork won the 2012 Pacific Rim Whale Festival Poster Contest. The festival celebrates, educates, and entertains residents of Ucluelet and Tofino and visitors every March when we can witness 20,000 grey whales and other species on their annual migration. This particular whale I saw presented it's spyhopping technique and the seawater draining out of it's filter feeding baleen. Simply magic.
