I love beachcombing year round but Summer means kicking off the sandals and going barefoot. I love walking long distances with my head down searching for washed up treasures. Plants, shells, invertebrates are waiting for us to take a closer look. I like to take close up photos of the subject matter and study the colours, weathered patterns, and hopefully identify what it is and who may have lived in the shell. I am constantly looking for more and keep adding to this shoreline collection. Let me know if you have a favourite!
Perseverance, patience, and hope. I hope everyone feels a little better and knows that the future still hold so much possibility. I personally have gone through several iterations of making art and not making art at all! I need the interaction of others, I crave the audience. I want to share with you. I feel the need to bring joy and a lightness to brighten your day. I want to create a space and place for pure enjoyment of nature and how important it is to us. I feel a deep sense of renewal and connection to the natural world...
I am currently working on serving you better with the best shipping rates and a smooth experience to purchase my artwork. This does take some time and testing so in the meantime I am happy to interact with you via email one on one. I actually love hearing from you and having a conversation! So please reach out to email@example.com or call 1-250-726-3934 for your interests and if you would like more information about a specific piece of work. Have a beautiful day and find something new in nature! Allison
Some of you may have noticed that I departed British Columbia last fall and made my way to settle in Nova Scotia. Now 9 months later I am starting to get in the groove with a new home and most importantly, a new studio! While I settle in here in Lunenburg and enjoy the summer days and exploring I am reviving this website to better serve you and lots more art and content is coming. I hope you are all well and find joy in the simple things...Nature! Allison
